The day has dawned! FACT.
I really must start on the garden today. I did nothing out there yesterday. Did sort my office desk out though. I'll be spending a lot of time up there (mostly paying off a lifetime's debts TBF). Will be glad to see the back of our mortgage.
I need to be near a radio from 2:55 onwards. I've no viable excuse for not joining Mr Merrington at Griffin Park and will not take the coward's option.
I'm off to put the bubbly in the fridge now.
Enjoy!
*OK. I'm taking a bit of a flyer but it would be nice to be right. But if I'm wrong our game in hand and goal difference gives us two more chances. Be happy my Beauties - it WILL happen.

Morning beautiful ones Lovely sunny start here after a brief rain shower yesterday evening. I can't remember when we last had any rain, I suppose we were bound to get some though seeing as I had my car washed by the Polskis in Lodge Road yesterday afternoon. They did a splendid job too. Looking forward to finding imaginative ways of avoiding the radio this afternoon. I bet I give in to temptation so I had better look out my old Greek worry beads to preserve my finger nails. Good luck listening to/watching the game today everybody.

Good morning physiologically enhanced ones. Shutters still shut so no idea of weather out. It rained yesterday. My gardner didn't come so all the stuff I bought for him to plant is still in little plastic pots - barsteward. I shall be on the radio this afternoon and then out to a friend's place to play some music. Enjoy the match whichever way you take it in.

So tired. Got in late (or early I guess), woke up just now feeling a little sleepy, but the birds were being noisy outside my window. What a gig, though. Sold out, packed, hot as hell and we had to go on AFTER The Stupids, and after The Stupids were blindingly good. And we only had nine songs, which were under rehearsed. And it was brilliant, everyone like us, and kept offering us more gigs. Peter & The Test Tube Babies were old, fat, drunk, and really really good.
Now all I have to do is worry about today's game.
And I need tea.

Good morning everyone. I would have liked to go to Brentford today but it's not worked out so I'll be taking the coward's way out and waiting for the final score to come through. Don't let me down Saints or I'll give you hell if we share a hotel on Sunday night (and I've got a sneaking suspicion we will).
I hope Miss Y behaved herself at the grandparents' place last night. They've got her again tomorrow but at least they have 24 hours off. Fortunately she compensates for being a massive pest with super cuteness.
I might see some of those who are going to Plymouth in a pub somewhere on Monday. I'm out in town after the game for eats so I hope Saints can make me merry, otherwise Mrs Y will have a grumpy birthday dinner companion.
Have a good day everyone.
PS. I bet Chris's gardener responds with a Gallic shrug when the two next meet!

Morning Beauts.
Sun is shining, the dog is returning to it's rightful home today. Hooray!
Enjoyed the wedding event yesterday, much to my surprise and after I had told everyone that Hell would freeze over before I watched any of it!
Pleased Tone's gig went well and I look forward to reading a post from spot over the coming days that will be something along the lines of "how did I find time to work FFS?!".
Today may be the day, but on the other hand this is Saints we are talking about.
COYR!

G'day Pretty Things*
Sussex(E) is sunny n'bright which is a pleasant surprise after last night's torrential downpour which greeted me as I drove off the ferry yesterday evening (well, it was in Pompey).
I too shall be updating myself regularly on BBC Sport website this p.m. - fingers crossed!
Well done on reaching retirement Spot.... I'm sure you'll enjoy it greatly. I've still a few years to go to official retirement age but decided to give it all up quite a while ago and haven't regretted it. Good luck!
Some tech drawing stuff to do today as I need to reorganise the 1st floor at the farmhouse - walls to rip down and resite, stairs to move etc. means a fun summer in prospect!
Now for some tea.
Have a good day, y'all
* Not the 1960s band of that name who, in actual fact, were a pretty ugly bunch.

good morning on what could be promotion day! A bright and breezy start up here.
Today I am de-cluttering ready for my move in June. Car boot at Kessingland tomorrow, that should see off a bit.
Decided not to take my porcelain clown collection to the thew new bungalow.. So that will go to auction in Diss in the next few weeks, all 300+ of them. I also have a large brass and copper collection, an absolute mare to keep polished, that going too.
Anyhow breakfast and shopping already done in Beccles.. Can't wait for kick off... and DM'S whispering voice telling us we just mustn't concede.

Morning/afternoon all,
Bit hungover again after last night's quiz, which we failed to win, but had a good laugh. More work to do today before 3, which means I'll miss the nice weather out...
Hopefully will be able to find a radio feed this afternoon, otherwise it's the horrors of waiting for the few tidbits SSN will throw my way while keeping an eye on the beeb site...fingers crossed it all goes our way, but I'll assume not until the fat lady sings to the man with the bag.
better jog on...

This is my second attempt at a good morning post, so thankfully for you lot I will keep it brief. Have a good feeling in my bones; after my nervousness all week, I now have a bit more clarity and i simply can't see us losing at Brentford, given our current form. I have a sneaky suspicion that today could be a day of destiny, and i am going go enjoy that day inthe company of Mr. merrington. But first it is haircut, then Homebase, then to the vintners for a bottle of champagne (just in case). I am hoping that 5-6pm today will be spent in the garden with said bottle of champers, basking in our promotion. The significance will be lost on MrsBatts, but she is never one to turn her nose up at a bottle of the finest brut.
