What a shame that after such a great season for them Brighton lack the honesty and integrity to play every game of the season. Poyet has been shown to be a thoroughly cynical and charmless man this season. It's a good job our season is in our own hands and our manager and players have the pride and honesty that Brighton lack.

They have fallen apart somewhat. The last two games at the miserable Withdean will forever be in the record books as losses. Not very impressive.

Perhaps the truth is their impressive run and points tally was due to their ability to dig out wins against poor teams - something we haven't always done.
Clearly Saints and Huddersfield are much better than most sides in this league and having to face us both when their job was already done was tough on Brighton.
Of course, had Brighton had to face us earlier in the season the impressive points tally would have been rather less impressive.

Huddersfield took six points off them (the only team in the league to do it) and we took four because we couldn't break them down at SMS with their keep-ball tactics. We've done pretty well against the teams in the top 6, which goes to show some of the place where we have gone wrong.
