Aha, May 1st is here.
Let's grab our pitchforks and torches and bundle Gus Poyet into the Wicker Man and burn the coont!
Promotion is so close now. I could almost touch it for a few minutes yesterday - until the Terriers chased the Seagulls off the park on 90 mins at the Withdean.
One more win tomorrow and we can all celebrate next Saturday. Is is still intended to have a Swiss / Marcus theme for Walsall? I have a bloody big Swiss flag which I'd be prepared to wear as a cape - but I don't want to be the only coont doing so.
Today I'm officially retired and the first thing I've been able to do is shift all my weekend visits and chores to weekdays. For the first time in years I'm having a weekend doing what I want. Today it will be buying a bloody big strimmer to replace the bugger that went kaput yesterday and a bloody big iPod to store my classical music on.
Rock on. Keep the faith. We're almost there (as Andy Williams used to say).

Good morning. When I left here yesterday we were two points clear, when I checked the results it was back to all square. It's pretty damned exciting. Lovely day here. Barbie for lunch I guess - which basically means it's a do nothing day. I got my flight sorted to come to England on Friday, so will definitely be there at the weekend and am looking for tickets. I'll call the ticket office on Monday but any assistance gratefully received. I tried the internet but need a customer number and don't know it - although they told me last time I am on the database. Also, Mum will be out on Saturday so I can do pubs before and after the match.

Pinch, punch etc. etc. no returns!
What Ho Handsome ones!
Sussex(E) is sunny again - but a few clouds. It looks like a good mowing day so some time in the garden, I think. Maybe, also, a run down to the golf course for some practise.
Sorry I can't help you with the ticket Chris as I'm unable to get to the match - we have a big party that evening and there's lots to do before it.
Tea, I think ....
Have a good day, y'all

Morning all you beautiful ones. Yesterday we saw off with ease what was a very difficult fixture, even without the pressure of the promotion chase. And fair play to the Udders. I think the fixture list treated Brighton very kindly this year; if they had come across two in-form teams a few games earlier, the outcome could have been very different. If we get promoted, i think we will finish significantly higher than Brighton next season. I predict a tough first year at Falmer for them.
Oddly i now feel very calm about Monday. The team have proven what they can do away from home recently, and Plymouth could not even get themselves up for a local derby where 3 points were imperative. As with Brentford, we will have too much for them. Our juggernaut cannot be stopped now, even by the Udders juggernaut, which is a powerful enough juggernaut in it's own juggernautical right.
This weekend feels fantastically long... Can't believe there is still one more day after today. Can't decide what to do with my time, so, like a rabbit in headlice, i do nothing.

Morning.
Really good performance from Saints yesterday. One foot in the Championship and then Huddersfield go and score in the last minute. Now we HAVE to win one of our last two matches to make certain.
I think the Swiss flag thing is still on for the last match. I have one of the sash first team shirts, which I wore for the first match of the season against Argyle. As we lost miserably, I haven't worn it since. I will wear it on Saturday on condition that Saints beat Argyle tomorrow!
Tidying the house today, as we have MrsC's sister, her eldest brother and his wife coming next weekend. I have warned that I will not be around on the Saturday, at least until after 7pm!
Right, onwards. Where's the kettle?!

Well hello there.
Strangely, for such an important game I didn't feel particularly worried while listening to it, and somehow, despite my generally pessimistic outlook when listening to Saints on the radio, I didn't think Brentford would score that penalty.
Still, I am worried about tomorrow's game, so all is ok.
Several cups of tea have been consumed, along with toast and the football league show.
The Flys.

Morning all. Nearly there! I hope we can get a win tomorrow and we can have a great day on Saturday. It's Mrs Rags birthday today so I will be mainly socialising with family and friends. And eating cake and drinking lemonade of course. Have a good bank holiday everybody.
Tone, I saw your pals from the tattoo place in Salisbury at the convention at SMS yesterday and very good they look too.

Well hello there my pretty poppetts (in a Dame Edna Stylee), nice, innit. And I've actually got a whole day off for once.
Shame the champagne had to stay on ice yesterday, but a good win well won in retrospect. I'm glad I listened in in the end as it too made me feel a bit more comfortable about tomorrow...mind you that's probably a bad sign.. will be there next Sat, but I can't promise anything Swiss... I'll have a think.
Like Chris, we're having a barbie (not Ken's wife); our-in-the-process-of-divorce-mate invited himself over, so obviously have to show him a good time. I think I'm going to barbeque an Ostrich FFS! In the meantime I'm waiting in for Orange to deliver my replacement phone for the one I knackered...will be nice to be back in the smartphone age after a couple of months without.
Just tea so far but boiled gegg shortly to follow; music will be dub pistols shortly

Good morning all. We are just waiting for my parents to arrive to divest us off Miss Y so we can set off for Plymouth.
I caught most of the game yesterday but got dragged off by Miss Y every now and then and missed the penalty drama. I'd like a comfortable win against Plymouth please.

morning winners. Enjoy your salad spot FPS I did, thank you. We got one of those cooked chickens and stuffed it in the fridge overnight. Nice bit of breast and leg for us, plenty of the other stuff for the spaniels. Also found a joint of beef at the back of the fridge that had to be used yesterday. Cooked it last night and will have that cold tonight. Salad me up FFS. The bubbly is still in the fridge though. Hopefully that will be opened in just over 24 hours time.
