Do we do lunch round these parts? If so, I'm having salad and fruit as per usual; but the salad is at least perkified by Hampshire's most famous vegetable export and chick peas.

I had the same as I always have; vegan cheese roll. Plus an apple and some sort of non-sugar, vegan fruit bar. And tea, several cups of tea.
Oh, and I can't bring myself to say lunch (shudder), it just doesn't seem right. When I were a lad I had breakfast, dinner and tea, and that's what I still have.

(my mum used to make/sell cakes, so we always had tea n cake when I were a lad, then dinner after...might be why I've always been a bit chunky, I guess) Personally, I think of dinner as the main meal and I'm buggered if salad and fruit is my main meal of the day...

There's a meal after tea? Not in our house there isn't. I do remember when I were a lad going on holiday to my great aunt's and having supper, but that seemed to just be crisps.

Furry muff...I doubt many mums had excess stock of cake that they had to dispose of... I preferred it on the days when there was excess pie, but excess cake was the norm.

I think I should probably stay clear of posts about food, and leave it to you people who actually enjoy it. I'm sorry, I won't do it again.

Damn you for mentioning crisps. I had forgotten about the large packet of Aldi's Sea Salted Hand Cooked Crisps that was in my car. I have now gone and opened them.... Lunch was sandwiches with Aldi's French Normandy Pâté (Made in Belgium!) and cucumber. Followed by crisps .......

Tsk... if you'd been on the ball you could've inserted some of the crisps into your sarnies, which'd've been fine n dandy!
