No Stephens, on the second of his three match ban, but Moussa Djenepo is available after serving his three match ban.
I just want to see Saints turn in a performance that puts to bed the poor record at home these past few seasons. We know they CAN do it, we see it most weeks away from home.

I think that Stephens is available, only 1 match ban for him?
City look daunting, but they have for basically the whole season, only peppered by the 8 league defeats they have had. Seriously, this is what they do, go through a bunch of games looking unstoppable and slicing teams apart but then they have one where it doesn't quite click and the opposition get at their still fragile defence and they get turned over. Even last night, Liverpool did make a number of chances and while City deserved the win it could easily have been 4-2 or 4-3.
I'm not expecting anything, but we do have a chance. It does mean taking the game to them though, rather than trying to hold out.

I am clinging to the hope that some City players might have the attitude " we've made our point, now let's concentrate on 2 more trophys". Realistically I don't think Pep will allow that to happen but we can hope. I was about to write they are human after all but watching them destroy the bin divers I wonder if they are. Maybe De Bruyne and Sterling need a rest. Nah...I give up.....oh dear.

Certainly straight red does not automatically equal 3 games, only violent straight reds (eg. Djenepo), professional fouls are only 1 game. Fantasy Premier League does not list him as suspended for this game and the BBC preview doesn't mention him being out.

Well, blow me down, you are absolutely right! Both Stephens and Djenepo are available after completing their suspensions. It is on the OS, so it must be true.

We'll need him too. Vestergaard played well against Watford (and is I think a bit under-rated by some, he's not a calamity waiting to happen, just a bit limited), but he isn't suited to a fast paced attack trying to get in the channels, he's better when he can face the play and get blocks in. I don't think Stephens is great, but is better than Vestergaard for this type of game and I think he did well against them a couple of seasons back (when Jesus got that last minute goal for the 100 points).
