LAST CALL for Euro Reporter Volunteers

Right, for a variety of reasons my plans for our coverage of the Euros has been scuppered so far. To make the reporting work, spot51 and I worked out we needed six reporters to cover the competition. That should enable the reporters to enjoy the competition, without it becoming hard work. So far we only have Spot to cover Group F, ivangolac to cover Group D and I was going to cover Group C. That leaves Groups A, B and E yet to be covered.

So, unless we get three volunteers by tomorrow evening, then I am very reluctantly going to have to scrap our plans to cover the Euros this time.

So, please have a look at the three remaining groups and head on over to the Euros Thread here and read through how we had intended to cover the groups and knockout stage. If you feel able to cover one of the groups and then possibly report on matches in the knockout stages then please just stick a post in the thread, or send me a PM

Channers, myself and Sir B3na1i both volunteered (in a way) in the other thread. Both of us want Group A mind you, but I'll do any group if need be (I'm more likely to see all of Group A, I guess my second choice would be Group B).

I was going to volunteer, I've enjoyed doing these in the past, but I'm not sure I'm up to it currently. If you get stuck for a particular match let me know, but I don't think it's fair on you for me to say I'll fully commit because reports may just turn out to be "The game is shit, life is shit, what's the point?" And that's not helpful to anyone.

I'd be happy to offer in principle, but I can't guarantee I'll watch any matches.. and also I'm away for a week of the group stages with no computer access, so the possible benefit of my contributions is a little moot.
