No snow here. It actually pissed down with rain last night. Anyone still on the M40?
I'll be fascinated to see what sort of side Nige sends out against Millwall. Of course, I'd like us to win it but that means delaying the Derby game to meet Bolton in the next round and then we are into playing catch up with games in hand. Our next two league games are both against teams in claret & blue. Six points please, god of football.
As I'm able to I may as well go do the weekly shop this morning. Couple of games on Sky, roast leg of lamb and the BBC's Bomber prog tonight complete my day.
Time for MOTD.

Took the team coach 7 hours to make it back from Brum! Might have been a better plan for them to stay over!

Morning
Still snow remaining on the ground after the snow yesterday evening was followed by heavy rain. Have yet to go out and see what it is like underfoot.
Pleased with the point on reflection. Less pleased with the lack of chances Saints managed to make. If we were making our usual number of shots on target I wouldn't be so concerned. Still I guess we will see if the Billy factor makes any difference.
Have a safe day.

Took the team coach 7 hours to make it back from Brum! Might have been a better plan for them to stay over! Morning outsiders, They weren't the only ones. Home at 02.20. Sick of the snow stuff. The last thing I need is a 2 week alpine holiday. Oh............. Conditions were bad. Should not have been played. Ball was sticking and footing looked a bit dodgy. Sky Sports dictated? We took over after the first 15. 2nd half was scrappier but we tried to play. Billy should have just hit it but it looked to hold up underneath him. Morgan was magnificent. He just ruled the midfield. Jack was the opposite and his form is a bit concerning. Punch was very good. Porridge and coffee reqquired.

No snow here, and our boiler is working; the lovely gas man arrived just as the game kicked off last night.
Didn't enjoy the game, not because of the result or performance, but the conditions. I couldn't see what was going on really and it didn't make for good football. How come Fox were sent off when the other player dived? Stupid ref.
Right, I have tea to finish.

Why do you feel the need to clear your drive, that make it turn to ice, and it will all be gone tomorrow no doubt. Pushing the boat out, blue mountain coffee this morning, watching movies with the boys.

It's 3 inches deep (as it were) and a 40 degree incline in parts; I can't see it melting by tomorrow morning and I can't not be in tomorrow as it's deadline day. The only plus of you lot saying there's not much snow left daan saath might be that I can get down for Milwall Tue, cos sitting here right now I was thinking that was £20 down the drain as well.

Good morrow
Anybody want some snow? Sussex(E) has it aplenty. Probably 3 or 4 inches of it. I may wander out and get some (more) pics of starving and freezing birds, icicles, ungritted country lanes - wonderful. Forecast says 'Thats's it!" - hopefully true. I'm glad that I didn't book a ferry to France for today as I originally planned- that can wait a couple more days, I think. I might even get to see Millwall for the third time in 10 days - including one televised match.
A strange game to watch yesterday. I ended up happy with a point but I shouldn't have.
I cooked a leg of lamb yesterday - it was/is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to have some cold for lunch today! Then a movie, Brighton Rock courtesy of BBC2 - I wanted to see that when it first came out but missed it. I'm not sure why it was reset in the 1960s nor could I understand the need for some of the other changes from the book but it was OK.
Cat needs food, I need tea
Have a good day, y'all

Morning No snow at all here so in your face Jezza! Jr Rags is still in bed, he doesn't believe me when I tell him there is snow outside any more. I might have used that ruse too often in attempts to get him out of his pit. Feeling reasonably satisfied with the result last night and fair play to our intrepid supporters, I hope they all got home safely. Coffee

Morning. Lots of snow here but it's supposed to be here. Went up to Reims Friday to show my son the school there and drove back yesterday. Fecking freezing. Filling up with petrol was a nightmare especially as the bastards made us queue up outside to pay in the booth rather than in the shop. WTF is that. Result, I now have a streaming cold. Caught most of the game on the radio via 3G telephone link. Blackmore is a much better than those Radio 5 chappies who give no clue as to what is actually going on the pitch., they're so busy telling their war stories of other games they went to in the snow.

good Sunday to you all, I don't know why everybody is being so unfailingly positive about yesterday, it was not good… Unless Nigel can create some of the magic he created last year at the end of the season we are blowing it.
Still, not too late yet, Morgan did well and Puncheon was adequate so I suppose there is a base there to go on and do something with.
I hope the cup doesn't interfere with the league, it might provide an opportunity for us to start to learn to score goals again in which case that would be really good, let's hope so.
BTW, how is Camberwell for snow anybody? Got to be there all day tomorrow and whilst it's pretty much gone here I don't want to drive into it again

I don't really know what your expectations are but I would suggest that you might be expecting a bit too much.
