Will the players sense blood and turn in a shit performance or will they get respond and up their game.
Or will the respond and still turn in a shit performance.

Hughes drops Gabbi for Obefemi but Long plays. I don't think Gabbi is great but I'd play him over long any day of the week.
Hughes is a stubborn dinosaur and we need to get rid of him. I doubt even a win against Watford will change my mind on that front.
Edit: though I don't mind Long as a sub. Or even as a starter out on the right wing. He just isn't a striker.

Listening to Lawrie Mac during the week talking about how Steve Moran got his chance, it struck me how chance and luck have a lot to do with it. I still don't know why Hughes doesn't try Gallagher as a conventional No.9 with Ings playing just off him. He seems to have tried every other combination and none of them seem to work.

Going to repeat my match selection from the other thread. Tongue in cheek, but why the feck not? Gunn Stephens Yoshida Bertrand Cedric Lemina Hojbjerg Targett Obafemi Gallagher Ings Or flip to 4 at the back with no changes to personnel; just play Targett in front of Bertrand.

Just like Harry Kane. Its all about trust, managers dont trust youngster until they have proven themsleves. I felt sorry for the spurs young defender Foyth who gave away two penalties last week, how will that affect his career.

I think today’s team selection might tell us something about what’s gone on. I don’t know what, but let’s see.

Sounds like a predictably crap start.

And into the bottom 3 after Cardiff won and Hudders and Newcastle winning. Got to win this.

a fullback who cannot defend, a lino who cannot see, and we are relegated if this is allowed to carry on.
