I see a lot of fans are predicting a win against Watford at the weekend. On what basis? Our outstanding defence? Our score-at-will strikers? Our genius manager?
Maybe I'm too pessimistic but I just can't see it.

I’m not convinced. Watford are no pushovers but our lot clearly are. They’re quite physical and have some decent individuals. Our confidence is at rock bottom and the players seem to take no joy in playing football. They’re scared about making mistakes and aren’t playing for Hughes.

Did I read somewhere that, should we lose, it is a full calendar year since we last won at home. A full calendar year. Let that sink in how shit we are.

We have to win this and the Fulham game or we'll probably be bottom come Christmas as we won't win the 3 after that. While we might jam a result at Fulham as their defence is even worse than ours, I can't see us beating Watford.

We were talking last night about the lack of atmosphere at St.Mary's these days, it seems most people are turning up hoping for a draw, but expecting a loss. That has got to be yet another contributing factor to the absolutely awful record at home. As MLT said last night, it comes to something when Chelsea and Leicester have won more games at St.Mary's in the last calendar year than Saints have. Pathetic doesn't even begin to cover it.
As for Watford, I am not holding out much hope of a decent result TBH.

Quite... it's something that the other strugglers have over us, our fans are pretty rubbish at lifting the team when their backs are against the wall...tbf that's a result of the awful last couple of years, but it certainly doesn't help the team turn it around.

I've got that Pereyra in my Fantasy Team. Regular points getter.

I've got that Pereyra in my Fantasy Team. Regular points getter. Same here... a few minutes ago I mulled over dropping him for loyalty reasons, but thought better of it. I dropped Bertrand instead.
