I am no longer bothered about football internationals. With the football internationals now not freely avaible on terrestrial TV, & not having Sky, I cannot be bothered having to search out somewhere to watch the game only to find, time after time after time, the game then fails to deliver. I will stick with my mix of Saints games, the odd London Irish game & a few Rugby internationals. seconded

Not wishing to get on the Sky bandwagon I will not even be vaguely concerned at missing the internationals. For the last few years I have got more pleasure from watching my local town team (who could probably beat the Icelandic U21's), than the Engerland performances. For real football there is little to beat Saints these days. PS. Just looked at the result tonight. Where the feck is Montenegro anyway?

Just been finding out about Montenegro. I see it has a population of 625,266 as at their latest census this year. By comparison, Leeds has a population of 787,700.
Puts the England football teams achievement into context. 0-0 at Wembley and 2-2 in Montenegro tonight.

Channonite, does that put our draw against the USA in the last World Cup into perspective?
I know England aren't that great, and have some very dislikeable players, but I still support them. I will be rewarded one day. Oh yes...

Channonite, does that put our draw against the USA in the last World Cup into perspective? Not really. None of the people I met in Tennessee last week knew anything about soccerball. Some even mentioned that the USA attempted to import the game several years ago. They didn't even know about the MLS now.

Hugo Montenegro "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" - hit record FACT. I, of course, watched the game. Needed a draw to qualify; got 2-0 up without breaking sweat; relaxed; got the draw we needed. Disappointed that Rooney seems to have learned nothing about self-control. Why somebody so obviously blessed with great talent had to kick out at a bloke who'd tackled him I cannot begin to understand? If UEFA choose to throw the book at him he won't even make our 23 next summer. Looks like another potential world star will piss his international career away rather than lead England on to glory. My job, as a fan however, is to support whoever dons the England shirt instead. I will add that I was up at the crack of fartarse to watch GP qualifying from Japan and have rather enjoyed watching England's transformation into a world class cricket side. But nothing on earth could persuade me to watch fecking rugby. Eggs are for omlettes not chasing FFS!

Drawing twice againsy Montenegro, eh? Embarrasing
Looks like you might have the last laugh with the rugby, Spot...it's really bad, we deserve to lose, but do we have to lose to the French FFS? Even the Aussies would be preferable...
