The media are sulking because they haven't got the man they wanted, the man who panders to them. Hodgson is a square peg for a square hole as far as the England team is concerned especially as the FA are trying to modernise and build for the future. Arry would have taken the whole setup backwards as well as costing them a fortune by bringing in all his cronies who actually do his job for him. By his own admission in court (ffs) he can't use a mobile phone or send an email. Is this the progressive face of iur national game? I also suspect that the FA know all about the dodgy dealings as yet undisclosed and realise that if things turned sour for Rednap in the job the fickle press would release the scabby hounds, the sort of thing the FA can't afford to be associated with. Good luck Woy.

Well the fans wanted him out at Liverpool and now they have the man they want. How is king Kenny doing by the way? 120 milion spent and a worse record than Hodgson. Fan power my arse.

If I read another journo cnut telling me how Harry brought on Bale I'll go on a killing spree. Bale was the finished article when he left Southampton yet all he got off that twat Redknapp was splinters in his arse from 18 months on the bench.
Suggest the nation's football writers take up a more honorable career like drug smuggling or child-abusing.

Rags, you're way ahead of me. How come the journos don't geddit? Because they write the same rubbish so often that it becomes, in their minds and the minds of their mong readers, the truth. Liverpool fans are a joke. Lineker is a joke. Oh, and what is that thing that Harry has in his hand and held to his ear, and that went off at a press conference recently, that he can't use................

That Sun headline is the most moronic thing I've seen in years.
How can there be ANY question over Murdoch being suitable to have anything to do with the media? You'd have to be as thick as Louise Mensch to support him.

You know what I was genuinely excited, but already I just feel sorry for the bloke. This country is run buy c*n* organisations like the Sun only interested in pursuing their own agendas.
I FECKIN' HOPE ROY TAKES A TEAM OF HONEST YOUNG AND OVERLOOKED HUNGRY PROS TO THE EUROS AND STORMS IT - THEN COMES HOME AND TELLS ALL THE GUTTER PRESS TO FECKIN DO ONE!
As lostboy said, England aren't a cup winning side, they're not in that league of top teams Brazil, Germany, Holland, Spain, Argentina, Portugal yet they're built up as such so the press can sensationalise their failure

Roy has already said one of his first tasks will be seeing if he can get Rio and Terry to play (nicely) together.

The media has immediately translated that to mean that he wants them to play. With any luck he'll be telling them to feck off and that Cahill, Jagielka, Jones, Smalling (yes, I saw the game, big deal) and others are a long way ahead of them in the pecking order.
